Alex Makes Art hosted a needle-felting workshop in the Smith Campus Center at Harvard Commons. Participants joined Alex by signing up for a FREE needle-felting kit to create their own unique rendition of a sunflower; the symbolic gesture Harvard gives to all newcombers during the first semester of each new school year.

No experience was necessary! All supplies were hand-curated and assembled by Alex Makes Art and sponsored by Harvard Common Spaces. Together, we ended summer and ushered in the fall semester through a shared experience of creating something both aesthetic and meaningful.
